Our program

Our Long Day Care service offers a school readiness program which assists each child to develop the foundations for lifelong learning,  skills and abilities which gives them the opportunity to learn effectively. Our school readiness program challenges children and is based on the philosophy that children learn most effectively through play, which in turn encourages them to develop confidence and a sense of belonging.

Our Educational Program is developed based on each child’s interest and family input and we value each child as an individual with his/her own personality, family and cultural background and the diversity this brings to the centre.

In the early years, children learn important skills such as listening, consideration, negotiation, and reflection. Our programs support each child to gain more independence and enhances confident young minds.

We aim to provide children in our care with a happy and safe environment that supports the development of holistic nature and nurture of the children in our care.

Ana Kindergarten expansion

Auburn’s population is ever changing, and continues to rise each year, with many families requiring dual or supplemental incomes. As a result, families in our community require high-quality childcare while primary carers are at work.

The good news is, we have responded to this need and have now expanded our children’s services capacity from 54 children to 72 per day. We have proudly opened our new Pre-Kindy room in 2022.

Rooms at Ana Kindergarten

Crawlers Room (0-2 years)

We understand how important the first two years of your child’s life are. Our nursery room provides age and developmentally appropriate resources and furniture with carefully designed learning spaces and gentle educators who develop nurturing relationships with each child.

We recognise the importance of maintaining your young ones home routine and we aim to ensure the transition into our care is as smooth as possible.

During the first years of life, your baby is developing a picture of themselves based on the experiences they have and the relationships they create. We strive to provide your child with the best possible start to life with plenty of opportunities for them to reach developmental milestones in a supportive environment full of intentional exploration and teaching.

Walkers Room (2-3 years)

As toddlers, children are opening up to new challenges as their communication skills expand and they learn to concentrate, experiment and play. Our educators support this magical phase through a program of play-based learning activities to help them explore their own interests and strengths.

Our toddler program promotes positive learning through play where our educators lead the way for your child to discover, create and problem solve in our intentionally designed indoor and outdoor spaces.

Runners Room (3-4 years)

Our childcare centre provides a stimulating and fun environment to enhance your child’s learning in their early years.

Learning starts long before school, with the first five years of a child’s life being crucial to laying the foundations for their ability to learn throughout their later years.

We have specifically designed our programs to deliver real-life learning experiences for your child.

Our educators aim to support each individual child to have self-help skills, self-expression, express their ideas through art, literacy, natural and processed resources; nurture their decision making, resilience, language and social skills, build relationships, play collaboratively with peers, and learn about safety. This is to support children in their transition to school and helping them to develop positive disposition towards learning that they will carry on in their life.

Racers Room (4-6 years)

Our exceptional pre-school program provides every opportunity to prepare your child for a positive start to their schooling years.

Our educators strike a balance between child-initiated and teacher-led activities. While still focusing on attentive care and play-based learning, our educators will foster your child’s natural desire to engage with educational programs for life.

We deliver a School Readiness Program that specialises in allowing your child to slowly adapt to the new school environment socially, emotionally and mentally before they even arrive.

Children in our Pre-Kindy room will engage in a preschool programs including experiences to support name recognition and writing, numeracy and literacy skills and exploring STEM as we prepare them for their transition to school and build life-long skills.
