Meet Our Board

Abdurrahman has been a volunteer for our community for over 15 years and has been the elected president and an active member of AACS for over 12 years. Adnan works well with diverse communities and is actively involved in community events and gatherings. His commitment to social services and justice, and an interest in working for his community, underpins the  strategic leadership he provides. Adnan works with the Board and management team to establish long term goals, strategies, plans and policies. 

Munzur has been a volunteer for our community for over 10 years and an elected director/secretary for over eight years. He is a very active volunteer, getting involved in all of our functions and events. and is always available to help.  He supports the Chair in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Management Committee.

Eddie has been an active community member for many years and was elected as a director three years ago. He has been voluntarily involved in all of our events, functions and community hubs and performs his duties in good faith, with care, and in the best interests of the non-profit. Eddie works with the Board to ensure that programs are in place to further the mission and goals of the organisation.

Hasan became a director of Australian Anatolian Community Services in  2022. Prior to this, he was an active member of the co-op for many years. Hasan supports the Chair, Secretary and Directors to ensure the non- profit corporation is being well run.

Yusuf became a director in 2018, and since this time, has worked hard to ensure that the organisation is operating in accordance with its mission and purposes.
